REV. CLYDE W. ROACH

Out of all the stellar accomplishments the one most revered by the Rev.  Clyde W. Roach was the establishment of the Brown-Taylor Family Reunion in 1980.  His paternal grandmother was a Brown, and his maternal grandmother was a Taylor.   Jersey City, New Jersey was the launch site of the first Brown-Taylor Family Reunion.  Working closely with Cousin Lucille Brown, Rev. Roach inspired the Family to invest mind and heart in the building of an institution, not just for the purpose of keeping in touch, but to discover our heritage and revive the traditions that make the Brown-Taylor Family such a rich legacy.

ANITA BROWN LOVETT

Anita Brown Lovett is the eldest living relative in the Brown-Taylor Legacy.  She is blessed to have graced our lives for 98 yrs.  Born to John Brown and Mary Kendrick Brown.  The eighth child of eleven, she loves nothing more than the stories of her sisters, brothers and cousins creating memories from Sumter County to Hudson County.

Her best advice to us is live well, with integrity.  Always strive for excellence and be prepared: knowledge, passion and maintain the 'go for it' attitude of the successful.
